Firstly, thanks to GDDF Admin for posting this issue on this Forum. I hope that some of the comments can be reported in mainstream media to portray a balanced view from both sides. Perhaps a follow up story from Ms Bauai should take care of this. As I’m aware Ms Bauai is only doing her job as a Journalist and is not on the MP’s payroll. However, her story is edited and allowed to go to press by her Superiors at Post Courier. We cannot blame her for the final version that appears on the paper. I also know that the MP has a very good relationship with the Media. You can see the Journalists following him to report on big events where he is officiating.
Secondly, the manner in which the MP is responding to the petition clearly shows his true calibre as the elected leader of the Goilala people. By now the people of Goilala should know what type of leader they have elected into Parliament. If not then something is definitely wrong with the way we think, analyse situations and make decisions. Only God knows what will become of Goilala District if this trend continues.
Last but not the least, on behalf of the Goilala Foundation Inc. my congratulations to the Grade 10s of Tapini Sacred Heart High School for coming out on top in Central Province in this year’s Grade 10 exams. I am very proud as a Goilala to hear of your achievement.
My sincere thank you to all the people who were supporting the students to make this happen. Let us all continue to work hard and study hard to maintain our top placing in Central Province and set an even higher goal, to come out top in PNG one day. I know we can do it because you have proved that you are just as brilliant, intelligent, smart and talented as any other student in PNG. I have every confidence in you all because you are the future of Goilala and the realization of the Goilala Dream will be achieved by you.
The Goilala Foundation is only setting the foundation for you all to stand on in your pursuit to realizing THE GOILALA DREAM.
I know the journey will be tough but with determination, hard work and perseverance you all will take Goilala to the next level. God bless you all in your humble journey.
Mr Thomas Eme
