“The QUESTION now is; “What has been actually implemented in 2013?” – BELDEN NAMAH

“The QUESTION now is; what has he actually implemented in 2013?” – Papua New Guinea Opposition Leader, Hon. Belden Norman Namah, Vanimo-Green MP

The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Peter O’Neill in his recent Christmas message published online said:

“As the New Year approaches you are entitled to ask me, as your Prime Minister, what does the year ahead hold for you, and for your family?”

“I can say with total confidence that the year ahead will see continued improvement in your living standards, principally through the quality of the basic services Government and Government delivered to you.”

“The assurance I give you, is that in 2014 there will be a strong focus on delivery, overcoming delays and frustrations.”

“The last two years have been about laying strong foundations.”

As the Prime Minister Peter O’Neill’s so-called ‘Year of Implementation’ draws to a close, the Leader of the Opposition, Belden Norman Namah stated in response:

“During the 2013 Budget Speech, PO said ‘2013 will be the year of implementation’. The QUESTION now is; what has he actually implemented in 2013?”

“My answer; in 2013, PO seems to have been successfully implementing corruption at all levels of government.”

“Again in PO’s Christmas message recently, PO said, ‘the year ahead will see improved living standards and greater opportunity for all Papua New Guinean families’.”

“My counter; 2014 is the year of improved living standards, greater opportunity & prosperity for PO & his family and his cronies and corporate partners – if PO is not disposed and deposed. God help PNG.”
