It looks like James Marape will keep on holding back the oppositions funds and has threatened to use his powers to spend those funds by-passing the Bulolo district Joint District Program & Budget Priority Committee .
As per his accusations, when I was the minister we discovered unspent education funds ready to be dished out to James Marape’s friends and wantoks.
Through NEC the funds were diverted to districts education intervention programs as per instructions from PM who was part of the decision making.
So for the minister to criticize the previous spendings from the last govt from which Peter O’Neil was the PM then he is also criticizing his PM too for making that decision.
As for DSIP we never touched, divert or threatened any MPs from the government nor the opposition all DSIP funds were paid to all respective districts.
This will be the first time if he does divert the DSIP using his powers.
Also he must now publish names of all 2nd term & continuing MPs who has already furnished their 2007-12 DSIP acquittals plus (all MPs ) 2013 DSIP acquittals all who have passed and released their five year plans.
The more the finance minister pushes on, the more every other MPs will be exposed in terms of new precedences that will be set by the courts for acquittals and direct deposit into treasuries.
He will shoot his government on the foot
I will push in with the court case.
