Ole Oltmann is a German national who decided he will do the unthinkable. He got on the plane from Berlin, and transited into Port Moresby via Brisbane.

Rather than doing what all tourists would do, get on a plane and head off to some tropical island provinces and enjoy the white sandy beaches, drink some fresh juice off a kulau, and watch the sun set in the evening, Ole jumped on a PMV and rode up the Hiritano Highway.

His trip brought him to Bereina, and he was told the PMV would turn there. But the dirt road that he could see there, he was told led to Tapini Station, in Goilala District.

He took the gamble and walked the rest of the Goilala Highway up to Tapini station.  How many nights he spent on the road, only Ole knows.
