GOILALA DISTRICT’S SHARE FROM CENTRAL PROVINCE’S PSIP FUNDING – UNKNOWN

psip

Under the Laws and Guidelines governing the distribution of PSIP by Provincial Governments amongst each District in the Province, each District is supposed to received K5million each yearly.

Central Province has 4 Districts – Abau, Rigo, Kairuku and Goilala. Going by the PSIP allocation per Province, Central Province gets K5m x 4 Districts = K20million.

As far back as much as my memory can retract, I have not seen, heard nor used any PSIP funded services in Goilala.  Ever.

So the question is, what happens to Goilala District share of K5million yearly?

PSIP funding of K5million X 5 years would be K25million from PSIP to Goilala.

Can someone from Central Provincial Government explain to Goilala people what has been happening to their share from the PSIP funding allocation from the National Government?
